Distance: 3 miles.

For some reason, I’ve had some lag in posting.  Meh on me.

OK, Monday’s run!  Successes: Had an AWESOME run, although my quads were in a little bit of pain from the fartlek the prior Saturday.  But I could totally feel the positive effects from it during that Monday run.  That being said, I ran through the pain and it was all gone by the end of the run.

This was the first day I chose to run around the park on my old route and that was a good decision.  While I find the track a useful tool, it is boring, mentally.  So, most of the run was through the park, with only a few loops around the track.  It was mentally refreshing.

Have been doing “tree pushups” that my friend Charlene taught me about, at the end of the run.  However, sometimes they are “wall pushups”.  Still, my arms get a workout!

I saw lots of cute doggies during my run, too!

Next run: Wednesday, 4 miles.
